All Fired Up .

Is it amiss that I`m more emotional to get a new episode of "The A-List: New York" than "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" or "Gossip Girl" on Monday nights? I never thinking I would but the show has exceeded my expectations. As each week goes by, I`m loving the show still more and in turn, getting more of my friends hooked on the show. LogoTV, I require my royalty check in the post soon.

Previously on the "The A-List", Rodiney and Reichen saw a couples therapist, Derek planned a NYC Pride Party, Austin canceled an appointment, Mike cried with his papa and Ryan got screwed and not in a just way. Episode 5, titled "All Fired Up", built on that momentum and is easily one of the best episodes so far. It had drag queens, lip injections, swan humping, a drunk Austin and more. Check out what the fabulous boys of NYC were up to this week below.

MIKE RUIZ

I`m starting to go like a broken record here, but Auntie Mike (Ryan`s name for him) only had one scene this episode again. What`s up with that? At this level of the season, Ryan`s assistant TJ Kelly is more a genius of this point than Ruiz is. One week we see Mike photograph Kelly Rowland, the future he has a heart-to-heart with his Dad, and this week, all the producers could muster was Mike having a colonoscopy. While the idea of things probing up his anus normally would intrigue me, I wish to experience more can the man, and not literally "slow" the man.

RYAN NICKULAS

Normally Ryan is in the midst of things, but this week he sat mostly on the sidelines. The biggest reveal we learned this week was he got an erection while having a woman do a colonic on him. To which Auntie Mike and him gay gasped in horror.

Still not lacking to open up on Austin, Ryan offers a haircut to him at his salon. Fearing he might actually cut him, he gets one of his stylists to do the actual haircut. He offers more advice to Austin, which I`m sure feel on deaf ears. When is Ryan going to make Austin is no Eliza Doolittle and only a "do-little"?

DEREK LLOYD

Derek was in fine work this week. First he went to his local cosmetic surgeon to get lip injections so he can best embody Marilyn Monroe for his drag party. How nonsensical is he? God he makes good TV. He also adds, that his new plump lips will be outstanding at kissing is MIA non-existent BF Roberto. Doesn`t he remember, Roberto never showed at his pride party.

For most of this episode, Derek was with TJ. I`m not certain how I look around this relationship of TJ being Derek`s new sidekick. The two mostly bitched about Austin and his uncouth behavior at Derek`s pride party and pretty much anytime they`ve seen him. For the Quarter of July, D & TJ head over to Fire Island to flow with the remainder of the boys. Though Austin tries to have nice, Derek isn`t having it and the two get into another war of language when Austin jumps naked into the pool. Insults like "small dick mother f*cker" are thrown around. Man, I know it a good gay cat fight. I`ll get into it from Austin`s POV later in the post.

AUSTIN ARMACOST

At the origin of the episode, Austin goes to watch out the photos from last week`s photo shoot. Even with a bit of retouching, Austin doesn`t care what he sees and neither do the stylist. Austin even comments he looks pregnant in the pics. They advise Austin to see into taking acting lessons and remember about another career. OUCH.

He later meets up with Reichen who invites him to go to Fire Island for Independence Day. Reichen tells him that no matter what, he won`t get on the hate mob and will treat Austin fairly. Solid move, Reichen. You think, this would be a motion for Austin to try to make amends. To his credit, he does try to act nice with Derek and TJ until_ Austin has a little too often to drink. Whoever kept filling Austin`s drinks deserves an applause.

At the pool barbecue, Austin and Derek go at it like Lindsay Lohan and Kate Moss fighting over the finish note of cocaine. In other words, vicious. Austin makes a snap about being surprised the pool isn`t orange yet from Derek`s spray tan. LMFAO. I get to give it to Austin, as the conflict intensified, he got calmer and bitchier which rattled Derek forcing him to empty the premises. Man, I`m loving Austin the more I see him. At the beginning, I thought Austin would be one of my least favorite, but without him, the point would not be about as exciting. To boot, he`s looking pretty good, now that he`s losing some of that excess baggage.

RODINEY & REICHEN

After last week`s counseling session, I didn`t make much faith these two could have a go of it and succeed. Having said that, these two were the most adorable things this week. They were being affectionate, played cute silly rolling games, and dry humped each other on a inflatable swan. You can`t get any cuter than that. All in all, they won me ended with their real feelings with each other. I really hope they have it work. Unfortunately the scenes for next week don`t really signal that.

For a change, a lot of separate things happened for apiece of them. Instead of them whining about their relationship, they really did remarkable things on their own. Kudos to them for heeding the counselor`s advice.

REICHEN Reichen got a call from his half-sister Kayli who happens to be a big ol LESBIAN. Whoever doesn`t believe being gay is genetic, needs to reconsider their stance. There are at least two Homorazzi cast members with a gay sibling as well. Despite telling Reichen three days ago she is gay, she hasn`t had the bravery to assure her parents yet. Reichen encourages her to do so, and says he`ll be there for support. Awww, what a good bro. Reichen seriously went up a couple notches in my word this episode. Good boyfriend, great friend, and awesome brother.

Unfortunately doing all this good, didn`t buy him karma points. His manager breaks the word that the play producers will be releasing him when his contract expires. They`ve found someone cheaper to replace Reichen when his contract is up. Rodiney suggests they become party promoters to make some cash. Reichen`s not sold on the mind but isn`t completely questioning it out.

RODINEY

Taking to heart last week`s talk about Rodiney helping out financially around the homestead, Rodiney decides he`s going to turn a 2011 calendar. He impresses the photographer during the test shoot and two embark on the project. To buy a copy, click on the photo above for more details. He looks pretty darn sexy on the cover. I expect July and August will be even hotter.

SCENE STEALER OF THE WEEK

Normally, my boy TJ Kelly receives this honor, but in fall of his consistent awesomeness, I had to recognize someone else this week. Derek`s assistant Gina cracked me up this episode. The picture above captures her reaction when Derek asks Gina to design the drag party, shave his legs, and make "random" compliments to Derek about being the prettiest girl at the party. LOL. To be fair, Derek was the prettiest drag queen that night.I really desire this woman gets compensated well considering all the heinous things she has to do. With TJ and Gina stealing the spotlight, perhaps Logo should consider filming a point around all these hookers` assistants. I`d love to see them all bitch about their bosses.

I inquire if she gets worker`s comp if she injures herself here.

"OMG Derek, you`re the prettiest girl here". LOL.

There you give it folks, this week`s episode briefly recapped and reviewed. Are you still loving the present? Do you suppose the record will make a Season Two? Do you think Logo will consider spinning this show off to different cities a la "The Real Housewives of_" franchise? Post your comments below.

In closing, I give you this haunting image of Reichen in drag. While he makes a handsome looking man, a good-looking woman, he ain`t. If you remember this is scary, you should see him walk in heels. Like someone said, he`s like a "teamster in heels".
