The X Factor 2011 auditions come to a close this week as the UKs biggest tv show visits Liverpool for the start sentence in its history! With thousands turning up at the Echo Arena on the shore of the Mersey, the judges arrived surprisingly on time for once as Tulisa Contostavlos celebrates her 23rd birthday.

The N-Dubz star already kicked off celebrations late last night with a pre-party along with the shows team and X Factor host Dermot OLeary.

Despite a late night a few drinks, Tulisa looked as immaculate as ever as she stepped out below the Liverpool Eye for the latest day of tryouts.

This is the start sentence The X Factor has held auditions in Liverpool, with the city replacing auditions in Dublin, Ireland. The strike comes after sister show Britains Got Talent found success in the Northern city before this year.

A source said: Hopefully The X Factor will uncover just as much talent as Britains Got Talent did in January.

One act already tipped for stardom at the auditions is a Irish boy group, Element who have been compared to JLS. The five piece made up of Brook Wright, Karl Bowe, Dean Anthony, Simon Anthony and Kevin Johnston, will trust to move the jury at the auditions later this afternoon.

In the fight of the style wars and, for us, it was a net win for birthday girl Tulisa whose cute little red number went well with her plaited hair. Kelly Rowland meanwhile opted to show off her stunning legs with a little span of Stella McCartney shorts, but sporting a huge span of sunglasses just puts us off the whole look!

The pairs latest style war comes as its claimed Kelly and Tulisa are in a bitter bust up over their clothing budgets. Even though theyre having a joke about it to each others faces, behind closed doors theres a proper style war going on, a source blabbed

Louis Walsh and Gary Barlow meanwhile continued to prevent it casual, although were a little disappointed that Gary decided to put his cap back on after showing off his arms in a tight fitting shirt in London last week.

The X Factor 2011 auditions will end tomorrow as the panel return for the final day of auditions in the metropolis and the end of this years tour.

The X Factor will pass to ITV1 later this summer.
